Moving to Athens, Georgia as a newlywed, I slowly noticed that collecting blue and white porcelain was a thing women in the South did. Somehow I had missed this decorating practice, although I am sure people in Florida collect these vessels too. Obviously my family was not that fancy, but I've gotta say I like it!
